Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to use this website. Rental services are subject to age and license requirements as detailed in our rental terms. By using this website, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into binding contracts.

  • Vehicles must only be driven by the authorized renter or approved additional driver listed in the agreement.

  • Vehicles must not be driven:

    • By an unlicensed driver.

    • By individuals under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

    • Off-road or in national parks unless the vehicle is a 4x4 and pre-approved.

    • To transport illegal goods or animals.

  • Modifications or repairs must not be made without prior consent.

Permitted use

You agree to use this site only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Use the website to commit fraud or submit false booking details.

  • Interfere with or disrupt the website’s operations.

  • Copy, scrape, or distribute site content without permission.

Bookings & Payment Methods.

At Paal Tours and Car Hire, we offer the following secure payment options:

  • Mobile Money (M-PESA TILL)

  • Bank Transfers (details provided upon booking)

  • No Cash Accepted

📌 Proof of payment must be sent via WhatsApp or email.
📌 A deposit may be required to confirm your booking.
📌 Balance must be cleared before or during vehicle collection.
📌 All transactions are issued with a receipt.

Modifications to our service

​We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of our service (including pricing, vehicle availability, or features) at any time without prior notice. However, confirmed bookings will be honored as agreed.

Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including logos, images, text, and graphics, is the property of Paal Tours and Car Hire and may not be reused without written permission.

Third-party services

Our website may link to or integrate third-party tools (e.g., WhatsApp, Tawk.to, HubSpot). We are not responsible for their privacy practices or terms of use.

Discalimer of warranties

The website is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free functionality.

Limitation of Liability

Paal Tours and Car Hire is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or inability to access services

Governing Law

  • These terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes arising from the use of this website shall be subject to local jurisdiction.

  • Any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the Republic of Kenya.

  • No waiver or changes to these terms are binding unless issued in writing and signed by Paal Tours & Car Hire.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS.

Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from Paal Tours & Car Hire, the renter must:

  • Be at least 21 years old for standard vehicles and 30 years old for luxury vehicles.

  • Possess a valid national driver’s license held for a minimum of 1 year.

  • Provide a copy of the driver’s license and ID/passport upon booking and the original documents at the time of collection.

Vehicle Use

  • Vehicles must only be driven by the authorized renter or approved additional driver listed in the agreement.

  • Vehicles must not be driven:

    • By an unlicensed driver.

    • By individuals under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

    • Off-road or in national parks unless the vehicle is a 4x4 and pre-approved.

    • To transport illegal goods or animals.

  • Modifications or repairs must not be made without prior consent.

Fuel & Mileage

  • Vehicles are provided with a specific fuel level and must be returned with the same level to avoid charges.

  • Most rentals include unlimited mileage unless otherwise specified.

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) & Liability

  • CDW/TPW is optional at an extra charge. It limits the renter’s liability in the event of loss or damage.

  • Without CDW/TPW, the renter is liable for up to Ksh. 70,000 in damages.

  • Excess Liability Waiver (ELM) is available as an additional daily option.

Late Returns

  • Renters must return the vehicle on or before the agreed date and time.

  • A late fee of Ksh. 500 per hour applies if returned late without prior notice.

Smoking & Cleanliness

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in all rental vehicles.

  • A cleaning fee may apply for excessively dirty returns.

Accidents & Theft

  • Renters must report accidents or theft within 24 hours and file a police report.

  • Liability extends to damages resulting from reckless or negligent driving.

  • The company is not responsible for personal belongings left in the car.

Repairs & Roadside Charges

  • Unauthorized roadside mechanic charges will not be refunded.

  • Any repair must be reported and approved by the company.

Cancellations & Refunds

​No refunds will be issued for:

    • Contract violations.

    • Early returns.

    • Unused rental days due to renter fault.

    • Unauthorized vehicle use or damage.

    • Roadside repairs without consent.

Indemnity

  • Paal Tours is not responsible for damages or loss to renter property in the vehicle.

  • The renter assumes all liability arising from misuse or breach of agreement.
