Refund Policy

A legal disclaimer

Refund Policy for Paal Car Adventures.

We understand plans can change and we aim to be as flexible as possible. A Refund may be granted under the following conditions:

Refund Eligibility

  • The vehicle is not available at the agreed time due to issues from our side.

  • A double payment or technical billing error has occurred.

Non- refundable Situations

Funds will not be issued under these circumstances:

  • The renter fails to meet the eligibility requirements (e.g. age, valid license).

  • A contract breach has occurred, such as unauthorized vehicle use or reckless driving.

  • Excessive vehicle dirtiness or smoking inside the car.

  • Roadside repairs conducted without prior approval.

  • Mileage or fuel rules are not followed.

  • The vehicle is returned late without prior notification.

  • No refund for no-shows or cancellations 

Late Returns

An extra fee of Ksh. 500 per hour may apply for vehicles returned past the agreed time. We give hiring priority to clients who return cars promptly.

Damage,Theft & Accident

If damage, theft, or an accident occurs due to negligence or contract violation, no refund will be issued. Customers may be charged up to Ksh. 70,000 in such cases unless they opted into the Excess Liability Waiver (ELM).

Refund Process

If you qualify for a refund:

  • The refund will be processed within 7 working days after the return of the vehicle and internal review.

  • A confirmation will be sent via email or SMS.
